Schools in Greece

What do 99% of all schoolchildren in my country have in common? We wake up early every working day and attend many school lessons or activities.

Pupils in Greece attend lessons in primary school from the age of 6 to 12 before continuing to secondary school. To move up to high school (Lyceum) you must take nation-wide exams. In Greece normally children finish school in the age of 17-18.

I am in second year of secondary school, and I’m studying 10 different subjects for my curriculum  year but I can choose French or German as a secondary language. Also, every Friday after school, the students who take part in choir leave school at 3:15 p.m.

In my opinion, most schools in my country give pupils the necessary education which after they finish school they can evoluve and go to University.
